Lochem

Among other places, you will cycle through Lochem. Lochem is an authentic village known for its beautiful historic buildings, such as the St. Nicholas Church from the 13th century and the Vredenburg from the 16th century. The narrow alleys and the old center give the village a charming appearance.

Goor

Furthermore, you also cycle through Goor. This is a typical Dutch village with old buildings, beautiful farms and lots of greenery. The name Goor originated because it was used in Middle Dutch to indicate a swampy area. The first mention of this village is as early as between 1027 and 1054. About 200 years later, Goor also received city rights from the bishop of Utrecht.

Markelo

In this area there are many beautiful mansions and castles. In addition, this is truly a farming area so there are many remnants of "old-fashioned farming." Add some nice dismounts to your bike route and make your day out complete!
